I'm a pretty laid back guy. I love learning new things and helping those around me. I love to travel and meet and hangout with new people. I pretty much live at Starbucks and at several different churches in Houston and San Antonio.
I try to spend as much time as I can, reading my bible to learn how to better live my life and help my family and friends live a better life. I work a lot, but wouldn't necessarily consider myself a workaholic.

Im a very random person, i live day to day. Im extremely impulsive, if you say something that bothers me you will hear about it, right quick and in a hurry. I watch anime and read manga most days im pretty boring, unless im at a convention.

I've always described the person I want to meet as someone who will join me on a tour of the museum district that day, only to be followed by laughing our asses off at reruns of Jackass that night. I want someone who is extremely comfortable in their own skin, and is not only aware of herself, but of the world around her. That basically means don't be one of those people that wanders out in traffic because you're on your cell phone. I want to find someone who is painfully honest. Someone who will tell me when I stink, when I have a booger hanging out of my nose, and most importantly, when they want me to fuck off. I believe the quality of one's life comes from the moments that you share with the people around you. There is so much in this world that shouldn't be experienced alone, and I'm looking my hardest for those that wouldn't mind tagging along.

It's very difficult to sit outside, under a pine tree and write something that isn't overly dramatic and exaggerated but, never the less, I will try to keep the poetic waxing down to a minimum. Traditionally this would contain mildly amusing statements that made vague references to my own life mixed in with tiny glimpses into my thought processes. While I enjoy that form of self description it's efficacy is questionable at best in terms of conveying meaningful information to whom ever might be reading this. And being a practical man I have realized the contradiction in my autobiographical style and the general methods that I apply to solving problems and generally living life. So in the spirit of ever changing and evolving social experiences it would seem prudent to spruce up my style a bit.

I am, at the very core of me, fairly simple. I enjoy reading a god web comic, watching a movie that at least tries to have a plot and making obscure jokes that no one, aside from myself, gets without explanation. On the subject of humor I like to think that my particular brand of comedy is so specialized and muddled that in all likely hood I'm generally the only one who ever gets my puns. I can back this up with a brief informal study I performed one day in which I attempted to make as many humorous analogies, puns, and jokes as I was able and keep a mental note of how many of the people hearing them laughed. To no small suprise on my part the ratio of successful jokes to flat dead things was strong against traditionally funny.

I get sidetracked very easily and generally when that happens instead of backtracking and retracing my steps I choose to walk down the new path I've chosen with the assumption that eventually I will find my way back to the original topic. This has lead to 4 hour conversations on proper bicycle maintenance that covered topics ranging from proper chain lubrication techniques to the social ramifications of having the ability to put "Somali Pirate Warlord" on a resume. Suffice it to say I never have a boring conversation however I also rarely have a both short and productive conversation either.

I very much enjoying thinking that I know enough about enough topics to be able to hold a conversation with anyone about anything. Obviously there a a great number of highly specialized topics I'm not even aware exist and some topics I don't care to know anything about, such as applying Rule 34 to a combination of fax machines, ferrets and 16 mm sockets. But assuming I'm not talking to a Theoretical physicist who specialized in Quantum Fetish Mechanics, I think my general assumption holds true.

To retouch on humor I enjoy a good pun, a biter irony and things that aren't quite funny but still hit on the amusing scale. a good example of the latter would be a wolpertinger. It's not explicitly funny, but I can't think of one running across a snowy field and not smile.

It is important to me... when meeting someone new, to become friends with them before we can get into a serious relationship. I think the best relationships are 1st based on friendship. Also, chemistry between people is VERY important. Either you have it... or you don't. And if you don't you can't force it, but if you don't you are still able to meet an interesting person in the process.

I am a live music NUT!!! I love to go watch a local band or a national act... it really doesn't matter... as long as it is live music. I am NOT totally tired of the club scene... but if the truth be known... I would much rather go out and see a great band than go to a club and listen to a DJ.

I prefer people that are not home bodies... I am very active. I volunteer for several organizations. Giving back to my community is very important to me.

I like going to the beach, getting a tan and play some sports, hanging out downtown when I get a chance and travel for the company I work for.. so far I have been to more than 10 states in the past 3 years so yeah I travel for work about 20% of the time. I'm in my last year of Optometry school. I love my chosen profession. I can't wait to graduate and be able to take care of patient's problems. I love the challenge of having a patient that has some vague problems and figuring it out. I like puzzles. This summer in Oklahoma on my first externship, they always assigned me the weird cases. I'm still getting them here. I'm at La Nueva Casa de Amigos- part of the Harris County Hospital District. As you can see, it's in Spanish and so are all the patients. I'm fairly fluent in Spanish, if it pertains to an eye exam. I get all the Spanish only patients as I and one other classmate are the only ones that speak any Spanish. I do like learning more about the language. I try to pick up a new word every day. I used to work in a restaurant as the assistant general manager- big title but that was it. Crappy pay. Most of the cooks were Hispanic so the Spanish I learned there usually involved who does who, who takes it in the twins, and mothers and grandmothers. That stuff doesn't really translate to an eye exam, though!

I love to cook, hang out with friends, play with my dog, surf the net. I especially love to cook and have my friends over for a home cooked meal. I enjoy making good food for other people. I gotta eat, I might as well share. And I'm damn good at it. My mom taught me to cook starting when I was 12 yrs old. Now she asks me how to cook things. Every time I go home, I cook dinner all the time. Mom tries to tell me I don't have to do it, but that is a major relaxing thing for me. Vacation time = Cooking time. I love to make savory dinners. I'm just not big on making deserts and especially pastries. Too exact. I like to put my own flair / spin on a dish.

My dog is a terrier mix. She was dumped in a park at barely 2 months old. I rescued her and she's been brilliant. So thankful. Also, she is deaf! I had to teach her hand signals. She is very smart and loves to play. She really enjoys the big dinner nights as all sorts of people are there, and as far as she's concerned, they are there just for her to play with. Plus she begs. Best puppy dog eyes. She has a very expressive face.

I surf the net a lot. I like to shop around, but don't usually buy. I prefer to shop in the stores. I know, that's pretty gay! I even have a shopping buddy. I also enjoy wasting time on Facebook. Mafia Wars has me hooked. I do like all the different games that they have on there. Some of the quizzes, too. Just like here, but not so naughty. Now you know a little about me. From their high school became a big blur i graduated and within days i hoped on a plane to LA to start a new life and to attend the best film school LA Film and a yr later i graduated school with high honors and within weeks my admission rep got me my first job with Summit Entertainment their i learned so much about film productions and how a company associates with bigger companies and working with a company came with tons of bonuses..access to hollywood premiers,awards shows and trendy hollywood party's but i never cared for that my goal was to continue learning and making a name for myself..after my contract ended i was offered a 4 yr extension but i denied it i guess only being 21 yrs old i felt i wanted to grow up a bit more and having given up my late teen yrs for school and work i realize i wanted to have more fun

At this point i am still semi-retired i am writting a screenplay which is my first love writting and i tend to get huge offers to work on movies but i have denied them because i want space to write and to find myself a bit more
