Trail users can park at Minnesota Riverfront Park Trailhead and enjoy the 12-mile Blacklick Creek Wind Wind Trail to the shores of Lake Michigan. If you are on foot or by bike, you can cross Interstate 40 to get to the lake by joining the Greenway Trail on the west side of the park, then continue east on the West Weston Parkway and on to Lake Superior State Park. The starting point is Old Reedy Creek on the Weston Parkways, and the trail winds 12 miles to Black Licks Creek, with a total length of 26 miles.
The dual-purpose trail can be used in both directions and has a total length of 26 miles, with the maximum distance from the parking lot to Fred Meyer Park being 18 miles. You can reach the Indian Creek Greenway, a 2.5 km (2.5 mile) trail that follows the Indian Creek from Olathe, Kansas City, MO, to the shores of Lake Superior.
The two trails stretch for more than 15 miles and connect to Lake Crabtree and Brule Lake, two of the largest lakes in the state of Michigan. The Krabbensee has a total length of 2.5 km and an average depth of about 300 meters. The crabs have a maximum depth and length, and the maximum distance from the parking lot to Fred Meyer Park is 2,500 feet.
